The bid Opening Ceremony on ICB S&I – NEP-IT 2 of Italian contribution to National Electrification Project (NEP-IT) was held in DRD on 10 December 2020 at 10:00 AM via virtual conferencing. According to agenda, DRD Deputy Director General U Maung Win delivers the opening speech and then started opening the technical parts of the submitted bids. Deputy Director General U Maung Win, the project representatives of DRD and the bidders attended the bid opening ceremony.
The companies that participated in competitive bidding for ICB S&I – NEP-IT 2 are Sino Soar hybrid (Beijing) technology Co.Ltd and JOINT VENTURE BETWEEN SITTAUNG CO., LTD & ICTS (MYANMAR) CO., LTD & GUANGDONG JINYUAN LIGHTING TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.
ICB S&I – NEP-IT 2 will implement Solar Home System in Chin State, Rakhine State and Sagaing Division.
